In the latest update, it has been reported that Ukrainian international midfielder Yuri Tiléman has joined Leicester City on loan for the remainder of the season.
Tilléman, who is currently out with a knee injury, was brought in by Leicester from Russian club FC Shakhtar Donetsk in January 2018. He had made just three appearances for Shakhtar before joining Leicester, but he impressed enough to earn himself a call-up to the national team squad.
However, his time at the club hasn't gone well. After only one appearance, he was sent off in a match against Watford on 14th March 2019, which resulted in him being banned for six months.
Despite this setback, Tiléman remains optimistic about his future at Leicester. "I'm looking forward to playing for Leicester City," he said. "The manager has shown some interest in me, so I want to continue my career there."
It seems like the transfer to Leicester could be a good opportunity for Tiléman to prove himself as a top player in English football. The club has a reputation for producing quality players, and it will be interesting to see how Tiléman performs during his loan spell.
Tilléman's move to Leicester comes after the arrival of another Ukrainian international, Oleksandr Zinchenko, who also joined the club on loan earlier this month. Both players have impressed their respective clubs and should bring valuable experience and leadership qualities to the squad.
