In the latest news in Serie A, Denny Dumfries has joined Inter Milan on loan until the end of the season.
Dumfries, who previously played for Chelsea and Arsenal, is set to join Inter after a successful trial period at Serie A club Juventus.
The 25-year-old midfielder has been a regular for Inter's youth setup and made his debut for the senior team in May last year.
"I'm really excited about joining Inter and the opportunity it will offer me," said Dumfries. "I've always wanted to play at the highest level and I'm thrilled to be able to do so now."
Inter president Luciano Spalletti praised Dumfries' skills and said he was confident that he would make a valuable contribution to the team.
"Juve have had a great season this season and we're delighted to have Denny back with us," Spalletti said. "He brings a lot of experience and quality to our squad and we look forward to seeing him progress under our coaching staff."
Dumfries, who has also represented England, will be hoping to impress Inter manager Marcello Lippi as he looks to build upon his impressive performances during his time at Juventus.
"He's got a good work ethic and a strong physical presence, which makes him a great player," Lippi told The Sun. "We'll see how he performs against some of the best defenders in Europe."
